We are a 26-acre U-pick fruit orchard located in Sherwood, Oregon.
With approximately 2000 fruit trees in total, our orchard offers many unique varieties. A fruit orchard for over 150 years, this orchard is a landmark in the Sherwood area under its former name Oliphant Orchards, and current name (as of 2005).
The season typically begins in early July with Sweet Cherries and continues with Pie Cherries, Peaches, Plums, Prunes, Apples, Pears, Quince, and Persimmons through October or as long as we have fruit. We have no picked fruit available. We do not ship any fruit.
From Portland: Take 99W south towards Newberg through Sherwood. We are 1/2 mile past the intersection with 99W and Sunset Blvd/Elwert Rd. on the right-hand side. You will see our sign "Sherwood Orchards" and we are the driveway just before the sign.
From Newberg: Take 99W north towards Sherwood. At the intersection with 99W and Sunset Blvd/Elwert Rd., make a u-turn onto 99W south. We are 1/2 mile past the intersection with 99W
and Sunset Blvd/Elwert Rd. on the right-hand side. You will see our sign "SHERWOOD ORCHARDS" and we are the driveway just before the sign.

Qunice are available during our regular season, while Persimmons are available in mid- November when they are ripe.
We are open for persimmons on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 9-3pm. They are $2/lb and are already picked.
During our season, we update at least weekly, what we have available for picking, pricing, and hours for the week. Our hours are posted at the bottom of this website.
We only accept CASH or CHECK. We also accept WIC. We do NOT accept CREDIT or DEBIT CARDS.
NO, we do NOT allow pets in our orchard.
We have buckets for you to pick into. Please bring your own boxes and bags to bring your fruit home in. We recommend you wear sturdy shoes, and not sandals or flip flops as our ground is very uneven.
No, we do NOT allow any ladders on our orchard. We have picking tools for you to use. We DO NOT allow anyone to climb our trees in order to pick the fruit. We appreciate your respect for these important safety rules.
